Let's take a look back at last year’s competition!
The Viennese team, consisting of Tobias Steiner Katharina Fiegl, James Merryweather, and Konstanze Pawlik (f.l.t.r), convinced the judges with their written pleadings and participated in the Regional Final in Barcelona from 9th to 12th March 2023. The case dealt with EU sanctions, environmental liability and EU citizenship law. It became clear to the team during the preparations and especially during the pre-moots how much these topics affect some of the most debated legal, but also political issues in the European Union currently. After two days of intense pleadings, we advanced to the Final of the Regional Final. Even though we very narrowly missed our ticket to the Grand Final in Luxembourg, we were proud of our performance and returned home with valuable experiences and fond memories!
