Curriculum Vitae

Laurenz Faber has been studying law at the University of Vienna since October 2020 student. For his academic achievements, he has repeatedly received merit scholarships from the University and the Scholarship Foundation for Students of the Law.

As part of his studies, he participated in the 30th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court in 2022/23 as a member of the University of Vienna team. There he won, among others, the Eric E. Bergsten Award for the first-placed (and thus world-best) of 378 international teams and was awarded the Martin Domke Award for his individual performance as third-placed out of over 2,500 participants.

Laurenz Faber has completed internships at renowned law firms. From September 2022 to June 2024, he worked as a student assistant at the Institute for European, International and Comparative Law at the University of Vienna under Univ.-Prof. Dr. Matthias Lehmann, D.E.A., LL.M., J.S.D..

His main areas of interest are private international law, financial market law and arbitration law.
