DMA Seminar - Mikulov 2025

At the end of November, the two-day seminar “The Digital Markets Act as a key instrument for the European digital economy” took place in Mikulov for the second time, in cooperation with Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci.

As part of this academic workshop, students had the opportunity to present their research findings.
The event brought together students, young researchers, and experts from several European countries to discuss recent developments surrounding the Digital Markets Act (DMA), its interplay with the DSA and the AI Act, and the future of fair digital markets.

Several sessions explored topics such as:

 

• Challenges of platform regulation

 

• Gatekeepers and digital sovereignty

 

• Interoperability and dark patterns

 

• Accountability in data-driven ecosystems
