Curriculum Vitae

Univ.-Ass. Mag. Moriz Kopetzki studied law at the University of Vienna. He completed the specialisation in Public Commercial Law and spent an Erasmus semester in Lyon, France. Furthermore, he participated in a Summer School at King’s College London. During his studies, he gained work experience, for example at the Federal Chancellery's Constitutional Service, at Eisenberger & Herzog Rechtsanwalts GmbH, in a Notary’s office or at the Labour and Social Court Vienna. He was also involved in voluntary work as a board member and treasurer of the Association GEDENKDIENST and held workshops for the Legal Literacy Project Vienna.

He is now working as University Assistant (prae doc) at the Department of European, International and Comparative Law since October 2018. His research focus is mainly on discrimination and fundamental rights in the EU as well as the relationship between national and union law. He is Fellow at the Vienna Doctoral School "Ars Iuris Vienna".
