Conference "Digital Assets in Enforcement and Insolvency"

From 4 to 5 May 2023, a conference on "Digital Assets in Enforcement and Insolvency" will be held at the University of Vienna.

Under the joint auspices of the European Law Institute (ELI) and the European Banking Institute (EBI), a conference on "Digital Assets in Enforcement and Insolvency" will be held at the University of Vienna on 4 and 5 May 2023. It will be organised and chaired by Prof. Christian Koller (University of Vienna) and Prof. Matthias Lehmann (University of Vienna/Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen). The conference will bring together renowned experts from different countries within and outside the European Union to discuss and compare how different legal systems deal with digital assets in enforcement and insolvency. The aim is to identify the similarities and differences between the various legal systems and to develop proposals for the reform of internal and international law.

When: Thursday, 4 May 2023, 13.00 - 18.00 and Friday, 5 May 2023, 9.00 - 12.30 

Where: Juridicum, Schottenbastei 10-16, 1010 Vienna, top floor and online.

The conference will be held in hybrid format. Both physical and digital participation require registration.

In addition to interested practitioners, students are also invited.
