Success for Johannes Tropper: Diploma from The Hague Academy of International Law

28.07.2026

Johannes Tropper, PostDoc in Prof. Reinisch's team, has been awarded the prestigious Diploma from The Hague Academy during this year's summer courses – a remarkable achievement in international law

Johannes Tropper, a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer in Prof. Reinisch’s team, was awarded the Diploma of The Hague Academy of International Law at this year’s Summer Courses. The Diploma is traditionally awarded to only a small number of particularly outstanding participants who distinguish themselves through excellent performance in the Directed Studies, a written examination, and an oral examination. This year, only one Diploma was awarded. The recipient is selected by a jury composed of members of the teaching staff and the Academy’s academic leadership. This year’s jury consisted of Professor Jean-Marc Thouvenin (Secretary-General of the Academy), Professor Sean D. Murphy (General Course), and Professors Danae Azaria and Mamadou Hébié (Directors of Studies).
